Geography Teacher/Head of Department
Our highly-successful independent day and boarding college is seeking to appoint a teacher of Geography (principally A-level). This position offers the flexibility to teach up to 18 lessons over three days a week; the precise days and times are negotiable. Being the head of this small but aspirational department may also be included, depending on the strengths and interests of the successful applicant. Applicants should be well-qualified graduates with relevant work experience. Knowledge of GCSE Geography would be advantageous.
EFL Teacher hourly paid part time
Our highly-successful independent day and boarding college is seeking to appoint a teacher of EFL.
The ideal candidate’s qualifications should be minimum CELTA or TESOL certified. This position is hourly paid from September 2018 and would involve approximately 20 lessons a week, although the exact number of lesson would be negotiable. You would be working within a department of qualified EFL teachers, providing dynamic and flexible EFL lessons to students studying at an A level or GCSE level.
Head of Mathematics, overseeing A-level and GCSE
Our highly-successful independent day and boarding college is seeking to appoint a Head of Department for Mathematics. This position would ideally include teaching up to 25 lessons a week over 5 days, although for the right candidate precise details can be flexible. The maths department is the college’s largest and one of its most successful. We enjoy success in both Maths and Further Maths at A-level, with many students achieving highly in Olympiads and other prestigious competitions. Our students come from a wide variety of countries and are motivated and aspirational, mostly aiming for Russell Group and Oxbridge.
The successful applicant will manage a sizeable team of highly-qualified and talented teachers who enjoy working collaboratively.
Applicants should be well-qualified graduates with relevant work experience. There will be a strong preference to a candidate keen to teach statistics and decision maths. Knowledge of GCSE Mathematics would be advantageous but not critical.
The college can offer modest accommodation if required, as part of an attractive salary package, in return for some non-onerous boarding duties.

Ideal candidates will have experience of teaching non-native speakers of English to GCSE and A-level and be sympathetic to individual requirements.
