‘Young Business Person of the Year Award’ sponsored by Bosworth
Fiona Pocock, Principal of Bosworth Independent College was delighted to sponsor the ‘Young Business Person of the Year’ Award at the Northamptonshire SME Awards.
SME stands for Small Medium Enterprise. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are businesses whose personnel numbers are 250 employees or less. SMEs are responsible for driving innovation and competition in many economic sectors! Below are the worthy winners who more than deserved the ‘Young Business Person of the Year’ accolade:

Ausra started her career in the property industry as an administrator at Hamiltons Residential Lettings, and within 6 months was promoted to Property Manager. When the owner of Hamiltons retired, Ausra decided to set up her own business in 2012 with the intention of providing an excellent service to landlords, investors and tenants at its heart.
Ausra’s sincerity, hard-work and outstanding levels of customer service mark her out as an exceptional young business person who deserves every success. Bosworth hope to remain in contact with Ausra who is an exciting example to our students as to what can be achieved by hard work, determination and a strong sense of commitment.

Parm submitted an entertaining animation to support his nomination for the award, outlining, how after gaining a place at a prestigious university, that he had a strong passion to start his own quantity surveying consultancy, Bhangals Construction Consultants. He also demonstrated a desire to inspire young people into the world of construction, to become the next generation of construction experts.
